Aston Martin DB2/4 Restoration
Body by Graber
This is the only Aston Martin DB2/4 chassis bodied by the swiss firm of Graber. We performed a complete ground up restoration on this which was then shown at The Pebble Beach Concourse where it placed in class. This project required extensive metal work and metal fabrication which was performed in house at KKR.
Aston Martin DB4
KKR performed a ground up restoration in record time on this DB4 so that it could be sold at the RM Auction in Monterey 2012. The car realized a hammer price of $520,000 which must have been a record price for a DB4 Saloon. This is an obvious testament to the quality of the restoration.
Mercedes Benz 300SL "Gullwing"
A California car from new, this 300SL received a concourse quality restoration by KKR. The car was repainted in its original silver livery. After being enjoyed by the owner for almost ten years the car was sold at RM Monterey for a healthy sum. The new owner is reportedly very happy with his purchase.
AC ACE
One of our more challenging projects, this early AC ACE was restored to show winning standards from literally a pile of bits that arrived piled on a trailer. Extensive body reconstruction was required before the project could move forward. The result was a stunning example of the predecessor to the legendary AC Cobra.
Aston Martin DB5
This DB5 was a California car from new and was in long term ownership. It still wore its original Fiesta Red paint work. KKR did a ground up restoration on this car in its original colors to show winning perfection. The California owner enjoys driving this car regularly and it can be seen at numerous shows.
